BUILDING SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
 
You can become an active participant in the creation of the Portland Delta House by providing a donation for a specific item within the building.  Donors' names will be memorialized on a plaque or etched on glass windows at the center in recognition of significant contributions.
 
The Vestibule: 
As visitors walk through the doors of Portland Delta House,
the vestibule warmly welcomes all.

Reception and Gallery:
Here is the history of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority;
it will be used to display memorabilia and
sustainable art created within the community,
reminding all who visit of the organization's
proud heritage and sense of purpose.

Meeting Hall:
The "head" of the building,
this space will come alive
with discussion, debates and exchange of ideas
as the community joins hands,
shaping a better future together.

Amount needed to complete $75,000
 
 
Kitchen:
The heart of the building,
the kitchen emanates love and
celebrates the joy we feel in caring for others,
nurturing our commitment
to help our neighbors
and sharing with others.

The Office:
Essential to the proper functioning of the center,
the office will serve as the control center,
ensuring that the administration and operations
are running smoothly and sustainably.

Amount needed to complete:  $10,000
 
 
Meeting Hall Bench:
The bench is a new take on the old concept
of window seat.
It is to be constructed of recycled wood
and buildt into the sill of the window -
a place to enjoy the scenery,
inside and outside the center.

Storm Water System:
This system is an integral component of the center's
"Living Building" status.
Amount needed to complete:  $10,000
 
 
Lighting:
Each space in the center will have
customized lighting designed to enhance its unique features.

Lavatories (3)
Epitomizing the ingenuity of the center's commitment to
sustainability and its refusal to let a good thing go to waste,
the lavatories will be constructed
inthe shells of the recycled cargo containers.
Square feet:  60
Amount needed to complete:  $3,000 each
 
 
Kitchen Appliances and Fixtures:
Energy Star rated, low-water consumer devices,
and ADA-compliant describe appliances and fixtures.
Oven:  $1,000
Refrigerator:  $1,000
Dishwasher:  $500
Sinks:  $500 each (2)
Drinking fountain:  $500
 
 
Curtains:
Curtinas will line windows of the vestibule,
reception and gallery and meeting hall.
Amount needed to complete:  $2000
 
 
Chairs:
New chairs for the meeting hall provide
a comfortable way for people to participate.
Amount needed:  $2,500 for 50 new chairs

GLASS FRONT DOORS:  Name etched on the center's glass front doors (1" high letters) - $100
